Here is the choppy-chirpy-cheap trailer for the Golau Glau sound installation at Beacons festival, ‘HENRY (The Methods Of Ethics 2011)’. You can read all about it here:
Obviously we are not playing any actual festivals because we do not play live and nobody has yet volunteered to build massive speakers and stripey hologram animations or 3D spectaculars with fireworks and flag dancers and glitter cannons based on our music.
Also the ‘Held’ video is being shown as part of the art exhibition Left In Vision at Marxism 2010 in London. The public launch is on Friday 2nd July at 5.30pm. Then throughout Marxism in rooms 2B and 2C in ULU. So if you have a ticket, do drop in and see our film on the big screen.
Our very first official video. We made it with our own hands, out of bits of the earliest televised UK party political broadcasts. ‘Held’ is about the promises made to us by politicians, parents and marketers and the fears we all have around the time of elections. You can watch the video on Drowned In Sound RIGHT NOWWWWWWW, where they call it “brilliant both visually and musically”.
